Neighborhood Beautification Campaign

Several years ago, street litter was a serious problem in Center City, especially on days after trash collection. CCRA stepped forward and with the financial support of many of your neighbors, raised the necessary funds to contract with the Center City District to provide workers to clean-up after trash collection.

Sidewalk Campaign funds are also applied to ginkgo berry removal . . . a persistent and odoriferous problem on many blocks in our neighborhoods.

CCRA-funded efforts have made visible improvement in the conditions of streets in our neighborhoods but the current cost of these programs is over $30,000 per year. Plus, we think that there is a need to expand these efforts.

 To donate by check, make it payable to Center City Residents' Association or CCRA, note on the check "Neighborhood Beautification", and mail it to CCRA at 1616 Walnut Street, Suite 705, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
