ZONING COMMITTEE
Mission
The Zoning Committee seeks to reinforce and strengthen the positive characteristics of the built environment in the CCRA area. We provide a monthly public forum for neighbors and applicants seeking variances to the zoning code to discuss proposed construction projects and consider the impacts of the projects on their surroundings.
Accomplishments in 2009-2010
We discussed a wide range of construction projects and influenced the variance application decisions of the Zoning Board of Adjustment to be more in keeping with our Neighborhood Plan and more beneficial to the community.
Goals for 2010-2011
Continue our monthly meetings and provide a respected voice for the community before the Zoning Board of Adjustment so as to shape development in a manner that is favorable to the neighborhood.
How you can participate
You are welcome to attend zoning meetings, which are announced via email and are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Committee agendas and results are posted here.
