The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) continues to evaluate the situation to understand potential impacts to the public following the chemical spill in Bristol Township, Bucks County, on Friday. No contaminants have been found in the system at this time. PWD is still monitoring the situation and conducting testing. The City is confident that tap water from the Baxter Drinking Water Treatment Plant will remain safe to drink and use at least through 11:59 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Updated information for community members about the chemical spill in the Delaware River is available here: http://bit.ly/3lH5ovN
