Fitler Fun Day

The Fitler Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, with a rain date of Sunday, May 7. For many years a Spring Fair has been a primary event on the Friends of Fitler Square Park calendar.  We are reinventing the event for post-shut down times to a one-day Fun event (which unfortunately was rained out last year) and welcome assistance and participation from the BFF community for this year.  We plan a 2 pm to 7pm time frame, to attract both families and child-free adults. 

As of now, our planned activities include 

Tables and chairs for BYO food and drink

Sales of water and other drinks, and prepackaged snacks 

Face painting

Paint a flower pot

Library book bike

At least one band for music

Dancers 

Spring plant sale 

Ask the Arborist” (Bartlett Tree) 

There is plenty of room in the park for other activities - please let us know about ideas for ones you would like to contribute
